About Laetus Lifestyle

Hey there, you awesome person, you!

Welcome to Laetus Lifestyle, a blog dedicated to a range of topics – from food to entertainment to business.

I started this humble blog when I realised I have a lot more thoughts to share with the world, thoughts that are not book- related. I say “not book-related” because my first blog baby was all about book reviews, upcoming book releases, author interviews, and the likes. It’s honestly not as impressive as it [probably] sounds, but I’m proud of it.

And now I’m talking about that blog and not this one. (Quick U-turn)
Let’s answer a few questions that, according to guides about writing “About Me” sections, readers would want to know about.

What does Laetus Lifestyle mean?

Laetus is Latin for colourful. So my blog’s name basically means Colourful Lifestyle, I just thought Latin would make it fancier. I want to thank Google for “teaching” me Latin in 5 seconds, by the way.

What is this blog for?

I started Laetus Lifestyle because I realised that the world could never have enough lifestyle blogs. That sounds sarcastic even in my own mind, but I actually mean it. We all have different thoughts, opinions, and experiences. And though there are probably other websites I can share my thoughts on, that I can have more exposure on, I still wanted a place to call my own –
where the only rules are, no  B.S.

I won’t pretend to be an expert on ANYTHING because I’m more of a Jack of trades, master of none kind of woman (look at me bragging about myself). So the articles or blog posts (whatever you want to call them) that you read here come from an ordinary, 20-something woman who loves coffee, books, her career, her child and her fiancée.

Who is this blog for?

It’s for everyone.

Who am I?

I probably should’ve started with this, but you’re already here, so…

I’m said 20-something woman who loves coffee, books, her career, her child and her fiancée. I’m a simple person who enjoys lazy days spent curled up in bed with a cup of steaming Joe and a good book. During days I’m not interested in reading (shocker!), I kill hours by watching Korean variety shows. They're addicting, I swear.

I have a wonderful 3-year old daughter who is a bundle of energy. She actually is aiming to replace the Energizer bunny soon, if I'm not mistaken. I kid, I kid. I also have a supportive fiancée who encourages my book hoarding. He’s also my biggest fan – why I need a fan, I don’t really know. But I appreciate the sentiment.

So that’s it. If you’re still reading this, I thank you. You’re probably the 1% who didn’t leave this page once I started losing my train of thought. Please enjoy this humble blog, and don’t be afraid to leave comments, or send me messages, because that makes me feel that people actually visit.

Thanks and catch ‘ya later!
